The purpose of the ProPatient is to improve the quality of life, that is the treatment and well-being of people with chronic diseases, mainly diabetes.
ProPatient improves the quality of life, that is the treatment and well-being of people with chronic diseases, mainly diabetes. It develops and implements the world’s highest standards of treatment, and aims to give equal opportunity to people at risk of social exclusion because of chronic diseases. ProPatient supports medical entities, treatment teams and patients’ activities, implementing educational programmes, promoting the best medical practices, learning from international and local experiences and acts in research and development projects. Achievements are to be exchanged and shared by the transfer of knowledge, technology, experience and best practice between people and countries.
Public or private bodies or ngos operating in public health. Specifically in chronic diseases such as diabetes (type 1 and 2, all ages). Areas of expertise: medicine, science, business entities in managing medical data bases and statistics, models of treatment, costs, guidelines, prevention and education. Sharing knowledge and expertise at seminars, workshops, training, open conferences, study visits through mutual cooperation with Polish experts. Resulting in the optimal model to be presented to decision makers.
Expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes in Poland. Offering a comprehensive view of the current situation of the care dedicated to diabetic patients, to be presented by doctors, specialists in diabetes (both type 1 and type 2, all ages), psychologists, nutritionists, diabetic educators and diabetic nurses. Giving access to specialists in the area of social exclusion as a result of diabetes in children, adolescents and adults at both productive age and retired.
