Organisation set-up in 1998 in Braila. The members of the Organisation (doctor, sociologist, psychologist, economist, manager and a lot of the voluntaries)have a large experience in working with children and people with any kind of handicap, minorities, elderly people, children and youth, in training the staff working in orphanages, elderly house, Support Centres for children with handicap, Productive Centres for handicap people, Socio-medical Centres for Roma people teachers working in primary and secondary schools in health promotion and education programs , in elaboration and implementation of educative and rehabilitation programs, in organisation of events with more than 100 participants, in organisation of campaigns for information and education of the people about risk determinants for the health(alcohol, smoke sexually transmissible diseases)

Description of proposed activity or project

Partnership proposal in the context of the new Erasmus plus program

The aim of the project is
• to bring improvements to the social life for visually impaired youngsters in Romania and other countries
• to provide inclusion opportunities
• to build a strong network for exchanging best practices between countries getting national and E.U. funding
• To develop new facilities for visually impaired
• To create educational tools to facilitate the interaction between visually impaired youngsters and youngsters who are not facing these difficulties.
The main activities of the project
• To identify some sports that can be played by the both categories of the youngsters
• To train members of each associations involved in the project in these sports

• To build a network of key stakeholders in this field and to cooperate in common projects in the future(during a 5 days training)

• Exchange on different sports which can be played by the both categories in the countries involved in the implementation of the project(during a 10 days training)

• To train members of each partner to enterprise interactive sessions with youngsters without disabilities in order to make them to be more open towards in social activities of this matter.(an anti-discrimination training using the “World of Differences” methodology.
• To develop different support materials describing the sports and the methodology for inclusion training in order to be applied by the other NGO.
