We are actively involved in the field of non-formal education by implementing projects to promote cultural heritage, environment, health, education, social inclusion.
Asociatia Voluntariat pentru Viata is set up in December 2012 and is aiming to meet the underprivileged people's needs, offering them help and support, respecting their dignity.
The mission of Asociatia Voluntariat pentru Viata is to promote volunteering and civic consciousness.
The aims of the organisation are:
• to provide support for people in need who are socially excluded;
• to conduct social research and monitor the phenomenon of social exclusion;
• to plan programs of assistance for individuals who are in social crisis;
• to run social integration programs for children who are socially excluded;
• to train professionals in working with underprivileged people;
• to set up and collaborate with day centres and residential care facilities.
Our project proposal â€œSocio-Educational Day Care Center " aims to promote the right of every child in need to grow and be educated within his family , to develop harmonious relations between parents and child, child and school, child and society through information activities and specialized intervention, in order to avoid institutionalization.
The overall objective of the project is the integration and social adaptation of poor children in need and their maintenance in the natural family .
The main objectives of the services offered at the center are:
â€¢ Providing day care to prevent institutionalization;
â€¢ School integration of children who have abandoned school or are at risk of early school-leaving;
â€¢ Identifying and practicing the skills that every child possesses;
â€¢ Developing childrenâ€™s autonomy.
Asociatia Voluntariat Pentru Viata is interested in partnerships with NGOs, Municipality or Regional Entities, Governmental Agencies, with experience in the following areas: social inclusion, health, cultural heritage, environment, education, children and youth.
Our Association carried out projects financed by the European Comission and continues to run projects in the Youth in Action programme (from 2014 - Erasmus+); it has project proposals within the NGO Fund and it aims to write and carry out projects supported by EEA/Norway Grants. We work in the social field, with trained specialists, elderly care, working with children and young people with fewer opportunities.
