The Parents' Association of Disabled Persons of Kilkis District «βηματίΖΩ» was set up in 1994. Today there are about 200 members – parents and guardians- it is commanded by a seven-member board, which is elected every three years. It is one of the 2 founder members of the “Center for Social Support of disabled” in Kilkis District, which is running since 1994 a Living Center for disabled persons. It also functions 2 Supported Living Houses for disabled («βηματίΖΩII» and «βηματίΖΩIII») with hosting capacity of two Disabled Pesons each. Finally, it is under completion the Boarding House for disabled «βηματίΖΩ I» hosting nine Disabled Persons.

Type of partner/expertise sought

At this time we are looking for a partner with similar activities (disabled, especially children and young) and with specialized experience confronting disabled cases. The experience in cerebral paralysis cases would be very interested for us.
