Local Council from Racsa Village

The City Hall from Racsa has the intention to build a museum here. It will have two parts: -one part with exhibits, where traditional clothes will be exposed (there will be an accent on evolution of the popular port and on the factors that influenced its change), photos took by local photographers (by which customs and traditions will be showed) and old objects from the house. -an “alive” part where some local artists, wearing traditional clothes, will present shows, expose some traditions and organize courses about old handicraft.

Description

Our village takes part from a region called “Oas Country”, a region that has many traditions. The traditions are especially connected with important events in human’s life(birth, baptism, wedding, funeral) but also with religious holidays (Christmas,Easter, Epiphany, etc); traditions well preserved over time. Another tradition is the popular port, this is specific this area and very spectacular. The popular port has changed over time, influenced by the living level and by free travelling in UE ( you can see here images from a traditional wedding http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_hg8IMR63E)
