KIBED PERMAYURT ASSOCIATION (KPA)

KIBED PERMAYURT ASSOCIATION (KPA) is a non-profit entity registered in 2011. By its Statute the NGO is engaged to assist minorities, marginalized and needy people of the rural communities of Romania.

Description

Founders of KPA are: Gabriel Cserei (double USA and Romanian citizen of marine transportation professional), Radu Judit (Hungarian and Romanian citizen and language professor with over 20 years of experience in Kibed), Kapás Lajos (25 years old Romanian citizen of Roma origin) with a successful farming carrier in Kibed. KPA conceived project of building Kibed Permayurt Village with local and international volunteers, along with participating local Roma members, thus will be regarded as a genuine human gesture and not a ‘hand-out’.

Type of partner/expertise sought

We are simply looking for partners already involved with international assistance of Roma integration projects (including financing and volunteer work), environment and sustainable development issues and NGO capacity building.

Type of expertise/competence offered

We are offering thorough local knowledge related to people, economy and local legislation. We speak English, Romanian and Hungarian professionally (interpreter and translator) and able to mobilize local volunteer capacities.
